EquialitySims Community Rules
Welcome to EquialitySims! To maintain a friendly, safe, and respectful environment for all members, please read and follow our community guidelines. These rules apply both to the website and our connected server.
Section 1. General Requirements
- Members must be at least 15 years old to join.
- English is our main language. If you post in another language, please provide an English translation.
- Treat all members with respect and kindness. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Be patient and welcoming to new members learning the community.
- Our site is for The Sims 3 only, do not use the site to track The Sims 4 or other games.
Section 2. Account & Identity
- Only one account per member is allowed. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account. Report any security concerns to staff immediately.
- Members must use a full Firstname Lastname format (e.g., "Erica Ericsson"), which must be unique AND must match your nickname on the Discord server.
- Offensive or inappropriate names are not allowed.
- No special fonts or non-Latin characters are permitted.
Section 3. Content Guidelines
- Screenshots using AI-generated content are not permitted.
- No spam or excessive advertising.
- Respect intellectual property—use only content you have the rights to.
- Racist, sexist, pornographic, violent, insensitive, or discriminatory content is strictly prohibited. Violations will be removed, with warnings or bans issued depending on severity.
Section 4. Horse & Stable Management
- All horse transfers must be agreed upon by both parties.
- Duplicate horses or falsified pedigrees are prohibited.
- Stable names and prefixes must be appropriate and unique.
Section 5. Community Participation
- Be an active and positive member.
- Participate in good faith—trolling or disruptive behavior is not allowed.
- Report issues to staff rather than taking matters into your own hands.
Section 6. Staff Authority
- Staff decisions are final and should be respected.
- If you disagree with a decision, contact staff privately.
- Do not publicly argue with or undermine staff members. Staff are volunteers working to improve the community.
Consequences for Rule Violations
Violations of community rules may result in:
- First Offense: Warning and explanation
- Second Offense: Temporary suspension (duration varies)
- Third Offense: Permanent ban from the community
- Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban (harassment, illegal content, etc.)
Staff reserve the right to take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation.
